A Plus Medical Equipment Repair Service Agreement


Mobility Device diagnostic service:

A Plus Medical Equipment has a local presence in the DC, Maryland & Northern Virginia area with the ability to provide repair services. Our repair service consists of a $175 diagnostic fee which is needed to accept any mobility device. The $175 diagnostic fee includes full diagnosis in which a technician evaluates the unit to see what it will take to repair it. A technician will either fix the unit during the initial diagnosis or provide you with an estimate on replacement parts and additional labor if necessary.


Diagnostic Service Agreement:

If your mobility scooter, power wheelchair or other mobility equipment is not working, you can call us and we will find out what is wrong with it quickly and affordably. The $175 diagnostic fee is non-refundable.

What is not included with the $175 diagnostic fee: Any replacement parts/any additional repair visits. If parts are needed, the service provider will provide you with a separate quote for the required parts & any additional labor. If the unit can be fixed within the first visit then you will not be responsible for any additional charges.

The $175 diagnostic payment can be collected online, by phone or in person. A technician will contact you within 24 hours of submitted service request, on average. Should you have any questions, you can always contact us via phone, chat or email.


Liability/Rental Agreement

Lessor, not the manufacturer of the equipment, makes no warranties, expressed or implied. As to any matter whatsoever. Including, without limitation, the condition of the equipment, its merchantability, its design, its capacity, its performance, its material, its workmanship, its fitness for any particular purpose.

Lessor further disclaims any liability whatsoever for loss, damage, or injury to lessee or third parties as a result of any defects, latent or otherwise. In the equipment, lessee agrees that he is leasing the equipment in its as is and present condition.

Lessor shall not be liable in any even to lessee for any loss, delay, or damage of any kind or character resulting from defects in or in efficiency of equipment hereby leased or accidental breakage thereof. Lessee is also liable at MSRP pricing to replace lost equipment and/or parts of damaged equipment that is leased.

Because we deliver to you and for scheduling purposes, mobility equipment requests should be submitted at least 2 business days prior to date needed.

All rental mobility equipment is loaned at a 3 day minimum basis. Rental equipment appointments may also require a down payment, based on delivery location.
